The trade mark consists of the word "Camel" the pictorial representation of a Camel (Camelus), generally used upon a label consisting of two panels, one having thereon the word "Camel" and pictorial representation of a Camel and a background displaying a desert scene on which the words "Turkish and Domestic Blend" appear, all contained within an ornamental border; the other panel, containing the name and address of the applicant, shows a representation of an Oriental landscape, also con. tained within an ornamental border, the words "Choice Quality" usually appearing in a space between the two panels,
The applicants reserve the right to the exclusive use of the word "Camel" in any language, either alone, or in conjunction with any added feature, and to the exclusive use of a representation of a Camel of any species, either alone, or in conjunction with any added feature or to use both word and representation together as they see fit; and the applicants further reserve the right to use the same in any single colour or combination of colours; the right to use any of the wording mentioned (except as hereafter mentioned) or of any added wording in any language, and to use other added matter, and the applicants reserve the right to the exclusive use of any word or words which, in any language, is equivalent to the meaning and intent of the word "Camel" or the pictorial representation of the animal.
The applicants disclaim the right to the exclusive use of the words "Turkish and Domestic Blend" and "Choice Quality".
The mark is to be registered in the name of R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company who claim to be the proprietors thereof.
The above trade mark has been used by the applicants in respect of the goods mentioned in their application since March 1901.
The above trade mark is to be associated with trade mark 340 of 1920.
