It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked Tender for the supply of Leather Shoes for Water Police ", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 6th day of May, 1927, for the supply of the undermentioned shoes for the Water Police, viz.:-
More or less-200 Pairs Leather Shoes.
No tender will be received unless the person tendering produces a receipt to the effect that he has deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $50 as a pledge of the bona fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if such person refuses to carry out his tender, should the tender be accepted.
For form of tender apply at the Colonial Secretary's Office.
For further particulars apply at the Office of the Captain Superintendent of Police.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
A sample of the shoes should be submitted with the tender.

PRAYA EAST RECLAMATION,
Obstruction to Navigation.
It is hereby notified for the information of masters of all craft that the western entrance to the above Reclamation at present defined by two red and white discs by day and two red and white lights by night will be closed to navigation on and after the 1st May, 1927.

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.
No. S. 89.-It is hereby notified that scaled tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Re-instatement of Government Retaining Walls", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 25th day of April, 1927, for the erection of a reinforced concrete face wall and the strengthening of foundations of the existing wall at D'Aguilar Street and all other necessary contingent works.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
