Objects and Reasons.
1. The object of this bill is to incorporate the President in Hong Kong of the Basel Evangelical Missionary Society. The bill merely revives in an improved form the former incorporation Ordinance No. 2 of 1896, which was repealed by Ordinance No. II of 1919.
2. The bill is in the form now adopted for incorporation Ordinances generally.
3. Section 7, taken with the Schedule, revests in the new corporation the immovable property formerly held by the old corporation which is now vested in the German Missions Trustees.
