TREASURY.
No. 774.-It is hereby notified for the information of Owners and Occupiers of tenements that, under the provisions of the Rating Ordinance, 1901, Ordinance No. 6 of 1901, Rates for the First Quarter of 1928, are payable in advance on or before the 31st January, 1928.
If any person shall fail to pay such Rates on or before the 29th February, 1928, proceedings will be taken in the Supreme Court for their recovery without further notice.
No refund of Rates in respect of vacant tenements will be granted unless such Rates have been paid during and within the month of January, 1928, nor unless application is made for such refund within fifteen days from the expiration of the Quarter.

No. 775.-It is hereby notified that on and after 1st January, 1928, the Hong Kong Coast Station Charge for radio-telegrams to vessels will be $0.25 per word. The minimum charge for 10 words which hitherto obtained will be abolished.
