On Council resuming, the Attorney General reported that the Bill had passed through Committee with the following amendments, viz., the insertion of the following clause immediately after clause 5 :--

6. Section 32 of the Magistrates Ordinance, 1890, is amended by the substitution of the word twenty-five" for the word "five"

in the first line thereof.

• 11. Hong Kong Police Reserve Bill.-The Attorney General moved the Second read- ing of the Bill intituled An Ordinance to provide for the formation, establish- ment and regulation of the Hong Kong Police Reserve.
