on 22nd October, 1927.

4. The Colonial Secretary laid on the table the Report of the Finance Committee-
(No. 13), dated 24th October, 1927, and moved its adoption.

MOTIONS.
5. Dogs Bill.-The Attorney General addressed the Council and moved the First reading of a Bill intituled An Ordinance to make provision for regulating the keeping of dogs and for the prevention of the importation and spread of rabies.

6. Jesuit Order Incorporation Bill.-The Attorney General moved the Second read- ing of the Bill intituled An Ordinance to provide for the incorporation of the Procurator in Hong Kong of the English Assistancy of the Jesuit Order.

On Council resuming the Attorney General reported that the Bil! had passed through Committee without amendment and moved that it be read a third time.
