The rainfall for the month of June at the Botanical Gardens was 13ins. •29 on 22 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 9ins. 32 on 19 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, it was 9ins. 64 on 13 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 612 at 18h on the 27th.
The maximum squall velocity, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 47 miles per hour at 16h. 30m. on the 30th.
