4. The Colonial Secretary laid on the table the Report of the Finance Committee
(No. 7), dated the 23rd June, 1927, and moved its adoption.

5. Supplementary Appropriation Bill.-The Colonial Secretary moved the Second reading of the Bill intituled An Ordinance to authorize the Appropriation of a Supplementary Sum of One million and eighty-three thousand eight hun- dred and ninety-two Dollars and forty-two Cents to defray the Charges of the year 1926.
The Colonial Treasurer seconded.
Question-put and agreed to.

On Council resuming, the Colonial Secretary reported that the Bill had passed through Committee without amendment and moved that it be read a third time.

6. Public Revenue Protection Bill.-The Attorney General moved the Second read-
ing of the Bill intituled An Ordinance to protect the revenue of the Colony, The Colonial Secretary seconded.

On Council resuming, the Attorney General reported that the Bill had passed through Committee without amendment and moved that it be read a third time.

7. Illegal Strikes and Lock-outs Bill.-The Attorney General addressed the Council and moved the First reading of a Bill intituled An Ordinance to declare and amend the law relating to illegal strikes and lock-outs, to amend the law relating to intimidation and to breaches of contracts of service in certain special cases, to promote the independence of trade unions established within the Colony, and for purposes connected with the aforesaid purposes. The Colonial Secretary seconded.

8. The Council then adjourned until Thursday, the 7th day of July, 1927.
