Regulations made by the Governor in Council under section 3 of the Post Office Ordinance, 1926, Ordinance No. 7 of 1926, on the 30th day of May, 1927.
1. The Regulation made by the Governor in Council on the 30th day of December, 1926, under section 3 of the Post Office Ordinance, 1926, appearing in Notification No. 711 in the Gazette of 31st December, 1926, is hereby amended and, as set out below, is added to the regula- tions made by the Governor in Council on the 24th day of June, 1926, under the said section, appearing in Notification No. 337 in the Gazette of 25th June, 1926, amended as appears in Notification No. 553 in the Gazette of 8th October, 1926, (which amended regulations are in this and the following regulations referred to as "the principal regulations") as regulation 27 :—-
27. The price of Imperial reply coupons valid for use within the British Empire shall be
10 cents each. The selling price of other reply coupons shall be 16 cents each.
2. The order made by the Governor in Council on the 10th day of February, 1927, under section 3 of the Post Office Ordinance, 1926, appearing in Notification No. 72 in the Gazette of 11th February, 1927, is hereby added to the principal regulations, as regulation 28, in the follow- ing form:---
28. The air mail fees applicable to letters from Hong Kong for transmission by the United States Air Mail Service, regardless of distance or route, will be 36 cents for each ounce or fraction thereof. This fee is in addition to the regular postage.
3. The Appendix to the principal regulations, including the portion headed "Appendix II", amended as appearing in Notification No. 408 in the Gazette of 6th August, 1926, and in Notifica- tion No. 504 in the Gazette of 17th September, 1926, is hereby rescinded and the following Appendix is substituted therefor :-
