The rainfall for the month of April at the Botanical Gardens was 8ins. 08 on 16 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 6ins. 701 on 18 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, it was 7ins. '81 on 16 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 742 at 16h on the 13th. The maximum squall velocity, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 47 miles per hour at 7h. 23m. on the 3rd.
