HARBOUR NOTIFICATION.

No. 20 of 1926.

Dredging operations at Tientsin, Warning to Shipping.

The attention of Shipowners, Agents and Shipmasters is called to the dredging operations now being carried out in the Harbour by the Haiho Conservancy Commission.

Owing to the gradual silting up of certain berths these dredging operations are of the utmost importance to the safety of vessels using this Port.

Constant interruptions to these operations are caused by vessels insisting on moor- ing at berths which are being dredged, resulting in unnecessary delay and expense to the dredgers so engaged.
