Blue Cloth, Serge, Alpaca, Buff Cloth, Sleeve Lining, Black Silicia, Unbleached Calico, Dungaree, White Drill, Overcoating, Khaki Drill, Braid, Silver Vellum, Buttons and Hooks and Eyes, will be supplied from the Police Store. The tenderer must specify the amount of material required for each article.

No tender will be considered unless the person tendering produces a receipt to the effect that he has deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $100 as a pledge of the bona fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if such person fails or refuses to carry out his tender, should the teuder be accepted.

All uniform must be made to the satisfaction of the Captain Superintendent of Police.

Forms of tender may be obtaine at the Colonial Secretary's Office.

For further particulars apply at the Office of the Captain Superintendent of Police.

No tender will be received unless written on the required Form.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

NOTICES TO MARINERS.

Shipping is hereby warned that as from the 27th September, 1926, until further notice Survey Operations will be carried on off Kowloon Point up to the 6 fathom line. Area will be surveyed in squares sides of such squares being 300 feet. Craft marking these areas will fly a red flag and ships passing should proceed with utmost caution and give them a wide berth.

Withdrawal of "Peishan" Wreck Buoy.

Notice is hereby given that on September 20th the Green Wreck Gaslit Buoy mark- ing the remains of the Lighter Peishan, the approximate position of which was N. 78° W: Magnetic, distant 9.3 cables from the Taku Light Vessel, will be removed.

Masters of vessels are cautioned against anchoring South of a line drawn through the Taku Light Vessel and the East Entrance Gaslit Buoy,
