The following temporary modifications are to be noted :----

Rule 2 under Special Regulations A is to be altered to read that the Canton

Quarantine Anchorage shall be immediately below Macao Fort.

Declaration of infection against Pakhoi withdrawn.

Referring to Harbour Notification No. 19 of 1926, declaring the Port of Pakhoi to be plague infected, notice is hereby given that the declaration against that port has been withdrawn, and that the medical inspection of vessels therefrom has been discontinued.

LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS.

No. 172 of 1926.

FOOCHOW DISTRICT.

Conservancy Works in the Min River between Nantai and Kushan point.

Notice is hereby given that the construction of training works in broken stone in the above named stretch of the river is now in progress and that, constituting a danger to navigation, they will be marked as follows:-

Heng Gi Island Spur Dykes.. In addition to three existing. Heng Gi Island Spur Dykes, a fourth will be constructed between the No. 2 and No. 3, extending out in a northerly direction from the south shore. The outer end of this dyke will be marked by a Black Beacon, carrying at night a single Red Light.

On no account is a vessel to attempt passing between the beacon and Heng Gi

Island.
