It is essential, in the interest of the safety of those engaged in the work, and of the expedition of the work itself, that the water in the vicinity of the wreck be disturbed to as small a degree as is possible.
Those in command of vessels navigating the Whangpoo are, therefore, requested to proceed at dead slow speed when approaching, and passing, the vicinity of the wreck. The attention of those in command of Torpedo Boat Destroyers and other highly powered craft is specially drawn to this request.

No. S. 162.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Shaukiwan Road Improvements in Shaukiwan Village", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 12th day - of July, 1926, for widening and improving Shaukiwan Road in Shaukiwan Village.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
