Approaches to Rangoon.

Proposed alterations in position of Light Vessels at Baragua and Krishna Shoal.

Former Notice to Mariners No. 42 dated 30th November, 1925.

On or about 14th April, 1926, the Baragua and Krishna Light Vessels will be shifted to positions approximately five miles south of their present respective positions.

Alteration in Character of China Bakir Light,

Former Notice to Mariners No. 5 dated 11th February, 1926.

On or about 22nd March, 1926, the China Bakir Light Vessel shewing a fixed white light will be replaced by a Light Vessel shewing a white Flashing Light every 10 seconds visible 12 miles as follows:--

Flash 2 seconds.

Eclipse 8 seconds.

By day Light Vessel carries two red Balls at mast head with the name China

Bakir painted in white on the red hull of vessel.

Alteration in Character of China Bakir Light.

On March, 23rd, 1926, the Light on China Bakir Light Vessel was restored to its normal character, vis. White Flashing Light every 10 seconds, visible 12 miles.

A watch buoy painted red with a cage top mark is moored approximately 2! cables North of Light Vessel.

Mariners are warned not to overrun this buoy.
