Sounding of Takungtao Fog Horn resumed.
Referring to Notice to Mariners No. 852, notice is hereby given that the Local Chinese Administration at Tsingtao have issued the following Notice to Mariners, dated 2nd April, 1926:-
"Notice is hereby given that the repairing to the Takungtao Fog Horn, located in Latitude 35° 57′ 56′′ N., Longitude 120° 29′ 20′′ E., is finished and the sounding of said fog horn is to begin from this date on."

Yangtze River-South Channel Entrance.
Tungsha Light-vessel to be withdrawn and replaced by the New Light-vessel Tungsha.
Notice is hereby given that, on or about the 4th May, 1926, the Tungsha Light- vessel, moored in the South Channel Entrance to the Yangtze River, will be withdrawn from her station and replaced by the new light-vessel Tungsha.

The new light-vessel has a red hull with "
on her sides, a foremast with spherical daymark, an iron column surmounted by a lantern, and a mainmast with spherical daymark.
The illuminating apparatus is Dioptric, of the Fourth Order.
The character of the new light is group lightning flashing, showing four achite lightning flashes in quick succession every 20 seconds.
The height of the centre of the light above water level is 32 feet, and the light will be visible in clear weather at a distance of 11 nautical miles.
During foggy or thick weather a first-order fog siren will be sounded, giving two blasts of equal pitch in quick succession every minute, thus:-
