NOTICES TO MARINERS.
Hainan Strait.
On February 1st, 1926, the S.S. Hunan grounded on an uncharted patch approxi- mate position 290° 6 miles from Lamko Point Light House. This patch appears to consist of shifting sand under about 24 fathoms of water.
Shipping is hereby warned to keep well clear of this position.
The Master of S.S. Amrum reports that he passed a lighted derelict of junk in about 21:34 N. and 114:54 E. mast about five meters above water. Dangerous to navigation.
HONGKONG, 27th February, 1926.

The Master of S.S. Bintang reports that on 1st inst. at 0015 gmt. he passed a dire- lict water-logged junk in Lat. 22:31 N. Long. 115:36 E.
HONGKONG, 2nd March, 1926.
The following report has been received from the Master, S.S. Halvard :--
"March 2nd 5.15 p.m. In Lat. 21° 34' N. Long. 113° 43' E. passed partly
submerged junk dismasted. No one on board.”

Wreck of S.S. "Tung Shing". Alteration of marking.
Referring to Harbour Notification No. 8 of 1926, Notice is hereby given that, on and after 23rd February, 1926, the mark boat now moored at the North East end of the wreck will be withdrawn, and a buoy will replace it.
The buoy will be painted green, and will be acetylene lighted, showing a green light flashing every 4 seconds, thus:-
