Information has been received from harbour master, Port Swettenham, that a pillar buoy painted red has been placed on bar at Pinto Gedong in a position 173° 7 cables from Pinto Gedong Lighthouse.

BAY OF BENGAL.

Sandheads.

Approaches to River Hooghly.

It is hereby notified that on or about the 31st January, 1926, the Intermediate Light Vessel will be shifted two miles due East of its present position and will be in Lat. 21° 14' 17" N., Long. 88° 13′ 38′′ E. in about 40 feet of water.

The Intermediate Station Buoy will be shifted 40° 1 mile from its present position and will be in Lat. 21° 15′ 5′′ N., Long. 88° 14′ 20′′ E. in about 30 feet of water.
