Corner Buoy will be moved about 2.6 cables S. 681° E. from its present position, its characteristics remaining unchanged. From the new position of the buoy, Plover Point Beacon bears S. 52° W., distant 2.12 miles.
Edge Buoy will be moved about 1.5 cables N. 5230 W. from its present position, and its colour changed from red to black. From the new position of the buoy, Plover Point Beacon bears S. 1° W., distant 3.38 miles.
All bearings given are magnetic.
CAUTION.
Mariners are warned that this channel is very narrow and appears to be closing up. At the present time no other channel is available, and until another opens up the present channel should be navigated with extreme caution.

Notice is hereby given that a rocky patch has been located to the southward of Lakea Island,

I 122° 27' 07" E. (
From the centre of the patch, Lakeati Island bears N. 78° E., magnetic, distant 7 cables.
Soundings on the patch, which is small in extent, ranged from 11 to 12 feet reduced to low water of spring tides.
