North Channel Entrance-Tsungming Crossing.
Shoal and West Spit Light-buoys to be moved.
Notice is hereby given that on the 3rd February, 1926, owing to changes in the channel, the following buoys marking the Tsungming Crossing, North Channel Entrance to the Yangtze River, will be moved":
Shoal Light-buoy will be moved about 6 cables S. 81° E. from its present posi-
tion, its characteristics remaining unchanged. From the new position. of the buoy, Woosung Lighthouse bears S. 24° W., distant 5.8 miles. West Spit Light-buoy will be moved about 5'4 cables S. 72° E. from its present position, its characteristics remaining unchanged. From the new posi- tion of the buoy, Woosung Lighthouse bears S. 4° W., distant 5.2 miles.
All bearings given are magnetic.
CAUTION.
Mariners are warned that the Tsungming Crossing is gradually shoaling and should be navigated with extreme caution.
