40'8 N., long. 100° 48'5 E. (approx.).
Details The new light is a gift from Her Majesty the Queen Savang Vadhana Somdet Pramatucha Chao Phra Boromracha Devi, and has been established and shown from the 17th December, 1925, with the following characteristics :-
Character-Gas flashing light every 5 seconds, thus: - Light 05 sec., eclipse
4.5 sec.
Height-6-8 metres.
Visibility-85 miles in clear weather.
Power-140 candles.
Structure-Ferro concrete beacon, painted white with black horizontal stripes. Name" Syam Devi".
Remarks-Both of these lights are unwatched.

S.S. "Tung Shing" sung below Black Point.
Notice is hereby given that S.S. Tung Shing lies sunk in the Huangpu toward the Shanghai side of mid channel, about 5 cables seaward of Black Point.
The wreck is marked by a green flag by day, and a green light over a white light by night.
Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.
