No. S. 19.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in quintuplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Repairs to Lighter 'S. D. F.'", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 5th day of February, 1926.

A list of work may be obtained at the Government Slipway, Yaumati.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

The work to be carried out to the satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor.

Motor Boat Iyo Maru which was abandoned with two anchors down.

GULF OF SIAM-EAST COAST.

Lem Pataya-Goh Chune-Goh Irah-Lights established.

Former Siamese N.t.M.-No. 330/VIII of 1925 Nos. (2) and (3).

(a) Position-At Lem Pataya on Goh Chune. Lat. 12° 567 N., long. 140° 50' E.

(approx.).

Details-The new light is a gift from H.R.H. Phra Ong Chao Somavadi Krom Luang Samara Ratana Sirichet, and has been established and shown from the 16th December, 1925, with the following charac- teristics :-

Character-Gas flashing white with red sector, three flashes every 10 seconds, thus-Light 0.3 sec., eclipse 12 sec., light 03 sec., eclipse 1.2 sec., light 0.3 sec., eclipse 6·7 sec.

Height-11 metres.

Visibility-9 miles in clear weather.

Sector-Red from 154° through south to 204°, white thence to 224°, red thence

to 274°, remainder is white.

Power-140 candles.

Structure-Ferro concrete beacon, painted white.

Name" Somrangsi".
