Notice is hereby given that it is proposed to man the Defence Searchlights on Thursday, 14th instant, at all stations. Lights will be on approximately 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

This will probably take place once a week for some time.

Position On top of Koh Lak. Latitude 11° 48′ N., longitude 99° 47' E. Character-Light flashing every 3 seconds, duration of flash 3 second. Height -430 feet.

Visibility-12 miles.

Power-820 candles.

Rock.

A pinnacle rock with least depth 32 feet rising abruptly from a general depth of 20 fathoms exists in the following position :-

239°-9 cables from Ichau Head, Puntin Island.

Position (approximate)-Latitude 21° 58' 40" N., longitude 11° 06′ 15" E. Charts affected -1180, 3026, 2661a.

86-Japan-Shimonoseki Strait.

Western Entrance-Wreck in.

A sunken wreck exists in position. 116°-9 cables from Kitazaki Misaki light, Mutsure Jima Island.

Position (approximate)--Latitude 33° 58′ N., longitude 130° 52' E.

Remarks Wreck is marked by a green wreck marking buoy, showing light

occulting green every 8 seconds.
