Customs duty : Advertising matter (catalogues, price lists, circulars and loose advertisements inserted in magazines) is dutiable. The following are however exempt from duty: Trade catalogues and price lists not designed to advertise the sale of goods by any person, firm or company in Australia, when 'sent into Australia in single copies addressed to merchants, firms or companies therein, and not exceeding one copy to each merchant, firm or company or branch office thereof and not being for distribution.

Prohibitions : Books and reviews of a communistic or atheistic nature. The importation of many other classes of goods into Colombia including the islands of San Andres and Providencia is subject to certain restrictions and controls; and the importer may be required to register the transaction in the Office of Exchange Registration, in which event evidence of registration may have to be produced by the exporter when applying for a consular invoice. Invoice : An invoice in quadruplicate on a form certified by a Colombian consul is required in respect of packets containing goods over 100 pesos in value. commercial invoice, numbered, certified and signed by the sender, must accompany each packet containing books and reviews of a commercial nature. For packets containing such goods the invoice must show the contents of each packet individually, the value of each item, the number of packets comprising the consignment and the gross weight. The invoice must show the total value in dollars or any other currency agreed upon by the sender and addressee. One copy of the invoice should be sent to the Post Office of destination. A note must be made on each packet of the number of books contained therein, its weight and the total number of packets comprising the consignment,
