Deposit. The fee for a permit is $10.00 and must be paid in advance, Every permit will expire at the end of one year from date of issue, but may be renewed for further periods of one year at a time, on payment of a fee of $10.00 in respect of each such renewal.

Design of cards. Complete printed proofs of the envelopes or cards must be forwarded to the Postmaster General for approval and must conform in size, form, and quality to the conditions prescribed for letters and postcards and be printed in black. The address side of the envelope or card should be printed strictly in accordance with the pattern shown below, and must not bear any other printings or markings:-

Postage due. The postage due on such envelopes and cards trans- mitted to the permit-holder will be calculated at the prepaid rate applicable to such articles and will be collected from him on delivery.

Miscellaneous Conditions. Business Reply Cards and Envelopes cannot be registered or insured. In other respects, business reply cards, envelopes, folders, labels and so on will be subject to the general conditions relating to letter, postcard and printed paper posts, except that they cannot be re-directed after delivery at the business reply address; if re-transmitted, they must be enclosed in a cover and postage prepaid.

CASH ON DELIVERY

GENERAL INFORMATION

Under this service, which is in operation to Great Britain, Macau and Malaya, the amount, called the trade charge specified by the sender for collection on delivery of a parcel can, on certain conditions, be collected from the addressee by the Post Office and remitted to the sender by means of a special order. Parcels sent under this system are known as cash on delivery parcels.
