The handling of mail for foreign destinations requires on the part of the post office staff a definite knowledge of the addresses of such mail and articles addressed in Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Greek, Indian, Turkish, Hebrew, Japanese and characters of the Central European languages are not considered sufficiently addressed although the country of destination may be written in English. Articles for destinations addressed in the languages mentioned above must bear an interlined translation of the name of the post office, province and country of destination in English,
The post office cannot undertake to correct or complete a wrong or insufficient address.
