Any alterations to the addresses specified on a broadcast receiving licence must be notified to the licensing authority and the licence presented for correction. No fee is payable for this.

(B). Short Term Broadcast Receiving Licence

This class of licence is issued by the Postmaster General at his discretion to bona fide temporary residents of the Colony for periods of three months at a time, at a fee of $4.00 for each such period.

Applications should be made in writing to the Postmaster General and the following particulars should be given :-

(a) Date of arrival in the Colony.

(b) Date of obtaining the receiving apparatus.

(c) Type of receiver to be used.

(d) Anticipated date of leaving the Colony.

(C). Ship Station Licences.

Licences for the establishment of transmitting and receiving apparatus on board vessels registered in the Colony of Hong Kong for the purpose of operating a commercial service between the vessel and authorised "Coast Stations" are issued by the Postmaster General at a fee of $25.00 per annum.

Ship station licences continue in force as long as the renewal fees are paid and the conditions of the licence are complied with.

Licences are renewable on the first day of January yearly.

For licences initially issued in the 2nd quarter (April-June), 3rd quarter (July-September), or 4th quarter (October-December) of any year, the licence fee is reduced by,, or respectively, as the case may be.

Application forms are obtainable from the Inspec- tor of Wireless Office, 1st Floor, General Post Office, Hong Kong.

(D). Radio Dealers Licences.

Licences to deal in radiocommunication apparatus are issued by the Postmaster General at his discretion at a fee of $50.00 per annum. Licences expire on the 31st day of December.
