PROHIBITIONS: letters; articles of gold or silver; military weapons and air-guns; playing cards; potatoes; rosaries, relics and similar articles; tobacco. RESTRICTIONS apply to the importation of: Spanish bank-notes; jewels and precious stones; pharmaceutical preparations; plants and parts of plants. CERTIFICATE: a certificate of exportation should accompany each parcel where

it is desired that payment for the goods therein should be made in accor- dance with the provisions of the Anglo-Spanish Payments Agreement. CUSTOMS DECLARATIONS must bear the Post Office serial number of the parcel, DELIVERY: parcels are delivered by the railway companies. The name of a station from which parcels are delivered must appear in the address on the parcel and on the despatch note. Parcels intended to be called for must be addressed EN GARE, not PoSTE RESTANTE.

PROHIBITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS: Same as for Spain above.

ADDRESS: parcels are accepted only for Bata, Elobey, Santa Isabel de

Fernando Po and San Carlos.

C.O.D.

PROHIBITIONS: letters; bank-notes, currency notes and negotiable instruments payable to bearer; firearms and air-guns and parts thereof, except under permit; raw rubber, except rubber samples in parcels not over seven pounds in weight.

RESTRICTIONS apply to the importation of plants and seeds.

INSURANCE : maximum of $1,920 for Singapore, Penang, Malacca and Labuan

only. Maximum for other places, $960.

PROHIBITIONS: letters; bees and leeches; coin; unginned cotton. RESTRICTIONS apply to the importation of alcoholic liquors; arms (see below); cotton and cotton seed; drugs; living plants, including bulbs; saccharine; sugar; sulphur.

PACKING: parcels must be very strongly packed in wooden boxes (which must be of stout material, well screwed or nailed together), tin boxes, or covers of canvas, linen or similar material, which must be sewn up at the flaps and folds and secured with string sealed at the knots and ends.
