Business Reply Cards and Envelopes cannot be registered, insured, or marked for express delivery.

Without prejudice to any other penalties prescribed in the Post Office Ordinance, 1926, the permit will be liable to cancellation in the event of default in pay- ment of postage due on such envelopes and cards as are transmitted to the permit-holder through the post.

PREPAYMENT OF POSTAGE IN CASH.

Senders of large quantities of unregistered letters and circulars etc.; for delivery in Hong Kong, Kow- loon and New Territories may prepay postage in cash at the General Post Office, Hong Kong, and Central Post Office, Kowloon, subject to the following con- ditions.

(a) Each posting must consist of the same category of correspondence, i.e. it must consist solely of letters or circulars and each article must be liable to the same postal charge. The total postal charges on each posting must not be less than $3.00.

b) Each posting must be handed in at the counter at either of the above Post Offices between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The articles must be made up in bundles of 50 with the addresses arranged in the same direction.

(c) Articles for prepayment in cash cannot be received on Saturday afternoons or on Sundays and Holidays.

MIXED

PACKETS.

Printed papers, commercial papers and samples of merchandise, but not printed papers intended for the blind, may be enclosed in the same packet, subject to the following conditions:

(a) Each article taken separately shall not exceed

the limits of weight and size applicable to it. (b) The total weight shall not exceed 5 lbs. (c) If the packet contains commercial papers, the minimum postage shall be 25 cents, and if it consists of printed papers and samples, the minimum postage shall be 10 cents.

(d) The total postage on such a packet shall be charged at the rate of postage applicable to the class of enclosure subject to the highest rate of postage.
