Newspapers
The prepaid postage rate is as follows:-
2 cents for each two ounces or part of two
ounces.
Limit of weight 5 lbs.
The limits of size are:-
Two feet in length, 18 inches in width and 18 inches in depth; or if made up in the form of a roll, 3 feet 3 inches for the length and twice the diameter combined, and 2 feet 8 inches for the greatest dimension.
A packet of newspaper posted unpaid or underpaid is chargeable on delivery with double the deficiency.
The regulations for printed matter also generally apply to newspapers.
Articles for the Blind
Packets containing literature and other articles specified below, specially adapted for the use of the blind will be transmitted in Hong Kong, Kowloon and New Territories at the following rate of postage under the conditions indicated:
