222.-The purchaser of any Postal Order inust fill in the payee's name before parting with it. He may also fill in the name of the office where pay- ment is to be made. If this is not done the order is payable (
(within three months) anywhere in the United Kingdom or in the countries named above.
223.-Any Postal Order may be crossed to a Bank, and in such case pay- ment will only be made through a Banker.

224.-Postal Orders should always be forwarded in registered covers. this precaution is not taken no enquiries whatever will be made as to the loss of any such order.
225.-Postal Orders issued in the United Kingdom and above places are payable in Hong Kong and at the British Post Office Agency at Wei Hai Wei. Stamps affixed to orders to make up odd amounts should be left clean and not defaced in any way whatever. Hong Kong stamps may be used for this purpose not exceeding 5d. or three in number. The equivalents of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 pence for this purpose are taken as 4, 8, 12, 16 and 20 cents.
226.-Any regulation in force in the United Kingdom governing the issue and payment of Postal Orders there should be taken to apply to the Imperial Postal Orders issued and paid in Hong Kong and at the British Post Office Agency in Wei Hai Wei.
227.-Should it appear that Money Orders or Postal Orders are used by the public for the transmission of large sums of money, or if any other circumstances should give rise to an abuse of the facilities offered, the Postmaster General may increase the rates of commission or even suspend for a time the issue of all orders.
