The sender must fill up a special Trade Charge Card with all the particulars required on the card, except the number of the parcel and those in the space headed Service Instructions.' No crasure or alteration of the entry of the amount of the Trade Charge is allowed. If the sender desires to correct the entry of the amount he must make out a fresh card. The Trade Charge Card will eventually be returned to the sender as a Money Order for the full amount entered on it and on the relative parcel by the sender.

188.-The sender must prepay by means of postage stamps affixed to the parcel, a special Cash on Delivery fee of 20 cents, for any Trade Charge not exceeding £1 plus 10 cents for every additional £1 or fraction thereof. This fee is in addition to the ordinary postage and other charges which must be prepaid in the usual manner.

The parcel must be handed in at the General Post Office, where the sender must obtain a Certificate of Posting, of which the production may be required as a condition of payment of the Trade Charge Money Order.

It is permissible for the sender to give instructions at the time of posting that the parcel is either to be treated as abandoned or tendered at a second address in the country of destination if it proves to be undeliverable to the first addressee. If the sender desires to avail himself of this facility, his request must be written on the parcel and must be in one of the following forms:-

If undeliverable as addressed, abandon.

If undeliverable as addressed, deliver

A request for delivery at a second address without payment of the Trade Charge cannot be admitted. All undeliverable Cash on Delivery parcels, unless The sender has requested their abandonment, are returned to the sender at his cxpense without previous notification.

184.-A delivery fee of 4d., will be charged for each parcel for the delivery servico, except in the case of parcels for Macno where delivery charge is 10 cents. The fee is collected from the addressee of the parcel, and no deduction in respect of it is made from the amount of the Trade Charge money order.

185. When a Cash on Delivery parcel is received in Hong Kong a notier of its arrival stating the amount due will be sent to the addressee, and the parcel will be kept at the General Post Office to be called for. The parcel will be held at the disposal of the addressee for 15 days, exclusive of the day of arrival, before being treated as undeliverable, unless it has been marked by the sender for delivery as the second address in the event of its proving to be undeliverable to the original addressee. In the latter case the parcel will be held at the disposal of the first addressee for a period of 15 days, and, if delivery is not effected within that period, the parcel will then be offered to the second addressee and held at his disposal for a period of six days before being treated as finally undeliverable.
