98. The Kowloon Main Acceptance and Delivery Sub-office at the Peninsula Hotel was closed on 22nd March, 1966. All the services. available there until then, including Telex and overseas telephones, were transferred to, and are now being operated at, the Ocean Terminal.

99. The Coast Station V.P.S. was moved to Mount Butler in Decem- ber 1965. The reception and broadcast of meteorological reports are still being handled at the Observatory, Kowloon.

STAFF WELFARE

101. Regular X-Ray examinations, inoculations etc. of the staff were arranged by the Medical and Health Department.

Social Activities

102. The Annual Children's Party was held on Sunday, 2nd January, 1966 at the club grounds with the record attendance. The usual enter- tainment was provided by guest artists and gifts were distributed to all children.
