STAFF WELFARE

107. The Post Office Recreation Club continued as the venue for welfare, sporting and social activities of its members during the year. Regular X-ray examinations, inoculations, etc. of the staff were carried out during the year by the Medical and Health Department.

Social

108. The annual Children's Party, a regular feature of the depart- ment's social activities, was held on Sunday, 29th December, 1963. The approximately 500 children attending were entertained to sideshows and games and presented with gift packets.

109. The Annual Dance was held on 12th January and was attended by 200 persons. A floor show was a feature attraction at this enjoyable function.

Table Tennis

110. A total of seven teams competed for the Saville Cup which was won by the associate members' team with the Hong Kong Sorting Office team runners up. The cup was presented at the Post Office Recreation Club premises on the 5th March, 1964.
