P.M.G.'s Certificate Examinations
64. Postmaster General's Certificate examinations are held in two parts. Part II may be taken up to a maximum of three times in one year. Two Part I and four Part II examinations were held during the year at the Hong Kong Technical College, Hung Hom, and the results were as follows:

Police Morse Tests
65. There were 4 Morse Tests for the members of the Special Police and Marine Police Constables held at the Marine Police Wireless School, Tsim Sha Tsui and at this office during this year. All 13 candidates · proved successful.
Radar Examinations
66. One examination was conducted by this department on behalf of the Director of Marine. Out of the 11 candidates, 8 were successful.
Licences
67. The total number of licences of all kinds in force at 31st March. 1962, was 136,801 of which 135,675 were Broadcast Receiving Licences. The total showed an increase over the previous year of 10,497.
68. The number of Radio Dealers increased by 87 during the year bringing the total licensed to 757.
69. The number of Private Business Wireless Licences issued for V.H.F. Radiotelephone systems increased from 49 to 65 during this year.
