113. The availability of postal facilities plays an important part in the lives of both rich and poor. The growth of the Colony throws heavy demands on our schools, our hospitals, our police force, etc., but it also throws increasing demands on this department. The Post Office must· continue to expand in keeping with these demands if it is to maintain a service of a high quality.
