7. Wireless Revenue at $1,509,392 also exceeded the estimate by $159,392 accounted for by increases both in domestic Broadcast Receiving Licences and in Rediffusion listeners.

POSTAL SERVICES

11. General. The total number of bags of mail of all descriptions handled was 283,383, representing a daily average of approximately 780 bags.

12. The total number of mail items-excluding registered items and parcels-which passed through the Department reached a new record high figure of 95,800,536.
