正如本公司於中期報告書內所載,本公司正繼續與
政府就該計劃之補價及條款細則進行磋商,並已盡 辦法加快磋商之過程。
大角咀舊船廠地段之重建
As stated in the interim report, the Company is still negotiating with the Government on the land premium and the detailed terms of the
proposal in respect of the above development. Every effort has been made to expedite the process.
REDEVELOPMENT OF THE OLD TAI KOK TSUI SHIPYARD
SITE
位於大角咀道二百零一號,前稱九龍海傍地段一百
一十二號及其伸延部份之舊船廠用地,面積約為二
十二萬八千平方呎,現時用作工業用途。該地皮位
於市區內,適合未來重建發展。於一九九六年九
月,本公司申請將該地由“工業”用途更改為“綜合
發展”用途,原則上已獲城市規劃委員會批准。該
地稍後會根據城市規劃條例第十六條,申請發展為 住宅、商業及酒店之綜合建築物,其總樓面面積約
為二百萬平方呎。假如更改用途之所有手續獲得批 准,本公司將須為發展該地皮而繳付補價。
The old shipyard site at 201 Tai Kok Tsui Road, previously known as
KML No.112 and Ext.. is of area approximately 228,000 sq. ft. and
is currently used for industrial purposes. The site is well situated at
an urban area for future development. In September 1996, our
request to rezone the site from an "industrial zone" to a
"comprehensive development area" zone was approved in principle
by the Town Planning Board. A Section 16 application under the
Town Planning Ordinance will in due course be made to develop the
site into a residential, commercial and hotel complex with a total gross floor area approximately of two million sq. ft. Premium is
expected to be payable for redevelopment if all rezoning formalities
are approved.
稽核委員會
本公司於年度內成立由董事組成之稽核委員會,成
員包括簡悅隆先生、何厚鏘先生、林高演先生及吳 樹熾博士。本公司乃香港上市公司中,少數成立
核委員會的公司之一。
AUDIT COMMITTEE
An Audit Committee of Board members was set up during the year.
Its members consist of Mr. Michael Kan Yuet Loong, Mr. Norman
Ho Hau Chong, Mr. Colin Lam Ko Yin and Dr. Alex Wu Shu Chih.
The Company is one of the few public companies in Hong Kong to
set up an audit committee consisting of board members.
