主要業務
本集團主要從事經營小輪及有關業務、貿易及服務性 業務、地產投資、旅遊及酒店業務。現將集團各主要 業務的營業額及營業利潤詳列如下:
The directors have pleasure in submitting their report and audited accounts for the year ended 31 December 1994.
Principal activities
The principal activities of the Group are ferry operations and related business, trading and services, property investment, travel business and hotel operations. The turnover and contribution to operating profit of the principal activities of the Group are as follows:

Financial results and dividends
附屬公司
於一九九四年十二月三十一日各附屬公司資料詳載於 帳項附註十三。
業績及股息
集團截至一九九四年十二月三十一日止年度的業績, 以及公司與集團於當日的財政狀況,但詳列於帳項第 二十一頁至第三十八頁。
中期息每股八仙已於一九九四年九月十九日派出,現 董事會建議派發末期息每股二角九仙給予一九九五年 五月五日記錄冊內的股東,股息將於一九九五年五月 十五日派出。
慈善捐款
本年度集團捐出的慈善捐款額為港幣52,956元(一九 九三年為港幣143,820元)。
固定資產
年內固定資產的變動,列於帳項附註九至十二。年內 大幅增加的固定資產,主要為小輪及碼頭發展開支。
The results of the Group for the year ended 31 December 1994 and the state of affairs of the Company and of the Group at that date are set out in the accounts on pages 21 to 38.
An interim dividend of 8 cents per share was paid on 19
September 1994. The directors now recommend a final dividend of 29 cents per share payable on 15 May, 1995 to shareholders on record as at 5 May, 1995.
Donations
The Group's charitable donations paid during the year amounted to HK$52,956 (1993: HK$143,820).
Fixed assets
Movements in fixed assets are set out in notes 9 to 12 on the
accounts. The significant additions during the year relate to ferry vessels and pier development costs.
