鄭官秀先生經服務本公司二十二載後,已於一九九 四年一月一日起辭卻董事一職。對於鄭先生為集團 作出之寶貴貢獻,董事局致以萬分謝意,並祝一切 順利。
Donations
The group's charitable donations paid during the year amounted to HK$143,820(1992:HK$23,000).

Share capital
Movements in share capital during the year are set out in note 17 on the
accounts.
During the year, neither the company nor any of its subsidiaries has purchased, sold or redeemed any of the company's shares.
Bank loans and other borrowings
The group's bank and other borrowings as at 31 December 1993 are as shown in note 16 of the accounts. There was no interest capitalised by the group during the year.

In accordance with the company's articles of association, Messrs. Lau Chan Kwok, Colin K. Y. Lam, Dr. Alex S. C. Wu and Dr. Lee Shau Kee retire by rotation and, being eligible, offer themselves for re-election.
Mr. Cheng Koon Sau resigned as a director after twenty two years of service with the company. Mr. Cheng's contributions to the company during these years is deeply appreciated and the directors wish him all the best.
