In the course of the dinner Mr Rees might like to ask his guests for their
impressions of their visit to the UK. Specifically, ir Rees might like to
invite comments on three areas:

GEC's capabilities first indications are that the delegation have
been very impressed with the GEC's technical
capabilities and are now confident that GEC
could supply the large high-speed turbines
required for the proposed power station.
The UK's capabilities and experience in power generation generally
the delegation will have visited a number of UK power stations and research establishments. (A
copy of the full programme for the visit is at Annex B).
The UK's ability to provide a competitive financial package
Mr Rees may wish to underline again to the
delegation, in the course of conversation round the table, a message already put forward at
official level that the UK has the proven record
of putting competitive export credit terms on the
table in response to specific project proposals.
Mr Rees might also like to refer to the financial
expertise available in the City.
If any detailed questions are raised by the delegation, Ir Rees will wish to
invite officials to comment.
Mr Benjamin and Mr Havelock will be seated
opposite the Minister.
