PQ: MR JOHN TILLEY: CROWN SERVICE IN DEPENDENT TERRITORIES
1. Mr Tilley (Labour Co-operative

Lambeth Central) has asked for

the number of Crown Servants under the Governments of Dependent
Territories who serve outside those territories and where they serve.
Mr Tilley is a member of the Standing Committee on the British
Nationality Bill and has previously asked for the number of Crown
Servants in Dependent Territories. Mr Luce replied on 3 April to
part (a) of Mr Tilley's question and a follow-up letter in reply to
part (b) was sent on 14 April.
2. The attached answer has been cleared with WIAD, SED and SAMD.
However, MCD are not able to say whether there are any Belizeans
in offices overseas. Although it is unlikely, we must consult the
territory for a definite answer. We can inform Mr Tilley by letter
when this information is received. I have telegraphed Belize.
