Naturalization and registration (as HKBDTCS) records

Applications for naturalization and registration as HKBDTCs
will not be accepted as from 1 April 1996. Assuming that all
outstanding applications would have been finalized by the end of
1996, such records (in paper form) will be transferred to UK at
an appropriate time between January and April 1997 (exact date to
be decided at a later stage). As at March 1993, the volume of such
records is about 133,000 occupying an area of 185 m2. At present,
