I should be grateful for your comments by the end of December 1993 on the proposed transfer schedule in the Appendix so that we can start to prepare the detailed plan for the transfer and also for re-deployment of our own staff upon the transfer of such functions to HKBCG.

I am sorry that I have to set out the details in such a great length. However, as you would appreciate, this
this transfer exercise is a large and complex one and I am not able to let you have a simpler paper without leaving out some significant elements.
