Your visit has enabled us to discuss a wide of issues relating to the future transfer of UK-related functions and records. I now attempt to summarize them in the following paragraphs.
Transfer of functions to the future Hong Kong BCG
We have disucssed our preliminary transfer schedule of UK-related functions. As I mentioned to you, this schedule is only an initial thinking to which agreement by all relevant parties within the Hong Kong Administration will be required. It does, however, give you an idea of what is being developed at our end. We will put the formal proposal to your side once it is agreed.
