FUTURE CONSULATE-GENERAL: BRITISH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
Pay.
1. Your letter of 1 May.
Thank you for passing on a copy of the paper the Chamber you gave Mr Needham during his visit to Hong Kong.
2.
Mr Hum's Steering Committee may well wish to take this opportunity to review the question of the presence of the British Chamber of Commerce in the future Consulate-General. I am writing separately to James Smith-Laittan about other issues which the Steering Committee will be focusing on at its next meeting later this month. It would be helpful to have your views on the British Chamber of Commerce (both the latest bid for more space and the more general question of whether you continue to see advantage in including them in the Consulate-General) by close of play on 14 May.
Yours ever, Debbie.
Also the chances of obtaining permission from
Builting.
