Derek Savage said that the Foreign Office wants to make a formal in his approach to the Hong Kong Government although this, opinion, is not a good idea. He wants to know if the Chamber will accept a license arrangement. The Foreign Office feel that the Chamber should pay a service charge and rent on a pro-rata cost basis. This will mean a rent worked out on a basis of 6% of the construction costs x 200 over 1500 at 6% per annum plus the use of utilities.
