contains articles other than those for

which is prohibited by Hong Kong's laws, or are
subject to Hong Kong's quarantine laws and
regulations. Such inspection shall be carried out in
the presence of the officer or member of his family.
17. The Head and staff members of the Office other than
those permanently resident in Hong Kong, and the
members of their family forming part of their
households, shall be exempt from all personal services
and contributions, including, subject to the law of
Hong Kong, jury service.
18.
Persons entitled to privileges and immunities shall
enjoy them from the moment they enter Hong Kong on
proceeding to take up
their post or, if already in
the moment when their appointment is

notified to the appropriate authorities in Hong Kong
