such privileges and
at the moment when
immunities have one to an end, immunities shall normally cease
they leave the country, or on expiry of a reasonable
period in which to do so, but will subsist until that time. However, with respect to acts performed by such
persons in the exercise of their functions as member
of the staff of the office, immunity shall continue to
subsist.

The
Government of Hong Kong recognizes the laissez-passer issued by the European Communities to
officials of its institutions on official business as valid travel documents. The office and the Head of the office shall have the right to use the flag and emblem of the European Communities on its premises, including the residence of the Head of the office, and on their means of transport.
Members of the staff of the office may be called upon
to attend as witmin S
vitnassas in the course
in the course of judicial
or
administrative proceedings. Subject to the laws of
Hong Kong, members of the staff of the office are not obliged to give evidence concerning matters
matters connected
with the exercise of their official functions, nor to disclose matters of confidentiality,

In the event of
death of a member of the staff of
the office, other than those permanently resident in Hong Kong, or member of his or her family forming part of his or her household, the Hong Kong Government shall permit the withdrawal of the movable property of the deceased, with the exception of any property the export of which was prohibited at the time of his or
her death.
