15.

The Government of Hong Kong shall provide by way of administrative arrangements for VIP facilities to be

accorded to the Head of the office

the Office and his or her

family members travelling with him or her and forming

part of his

his or

or her household. This shall include

special arrangements for immigration examination and exemption from customs inspection.

16. Provision shall be made, by way of administrative

arrangement, to other members of the staff of the

Office, other than those permanently resident in Hong

Kong, and family members forming part of their

households and travelling with them, for exemption

from customs inspection, unless the customs

authorities have serious reason to believe that their

official baggage contains articles other than those for personal use or articles the import or export of which is prohibited by Hong Kong's laws or are subject

to Hong Kong's quarantine laws and regulations. Such

inspection shall be carried out in the presence of the

officer or member of his family.

17. The Head of the Office and other members of the staff

of the office, other than those permanently resident

in Hong Kong, and the members of their family forming part of their households, shall be exempt from all personal services and contributions, including,

subject to the laws of Hong Kong, jury service.

18. Persons entitled to privileges and immunities
